Former President Donald Trump made headlines on Saturday as he introduced his new sneaker line, “Trump Sneakers,” just a day after being hit with a hefty $355 million judgment in his New York civil fraud trial. The unveiling took place at Sneaker Con in Philadelphia, where Trump showcased the luxurious “NEVER SURRENDER HIGH-TOP SNEAKER” priced at $399 on the website.

CNN adds, with a limited stock of 1,000 pairs, the $399 sneakers quickly sold out by Saturday night. Additionally, Trump is offering two other sneaker versions with the “T” and “45” logos for $199 each, along with cologne and perfume priced at $99 each. The products are trademarked by CIC Ventures LLC, clarifying that they are not directly associated with Trump or his organizations.

Despite the buzz surrounding his sneaker launch, Trump faced criticism from Biden campaign spokesperson Michael Tyler, who mocked Trump’s appearance at Sneaker Con. The former president is now gearing up for a visit to Michigan, marking his first public address since the recent legal setbacks in New York. These setbacks include an upcoming criminal trial and the hefty financial penalties he and his companies have been ordered to pay.

As Trump navigates these legal challenges, his visit to Michigan coincides with the state’s Republican primary, setting the stage for a pivotal moment in his political journey ahead of the 2024 elections.
