…just when you think you’ve seen and heard it all. A Georgia mom, Morgan Alyson Creel, 32, faces second-degree murder charges after her baby died from burns caused by a hair dryer. In November 2023, Creel called 911 after waking from a nap to find her infant son unresponsive and burned. She had been trying to warm him with the hair dryer while she fell asleep.
When help arrived, the baby had severe burns on his right side and was pronounced dead. An investigator noticed a marijuana smoking device on Creel’s porch, leading authorities to believe she was under the influence during the incident.
Creel was arrested for second-degree cruelty to children but released on bond. Nearly a year later, she was arrested again for DUI after being seen swerving in traffic.
