A man from Wisconsin, Timothy Darnell Lewis, has been charged with first-degree reckless homicide after shooting his wife, Jacqueline Beason, in the head while she was sitting in her car outside a beauty salon in downtown Milwaukee on her 60th birthday. Authorities say that Lewis was tired of constantly being yelled at by his wife.
The tragic incident occurred last Saturday around 12:45 p.m. on North Cass Street. According to a criminal complaint obtained by local news outlets, Lewis told investigators that he “Just lost it” after his wife and her daughter were yelling at him. He admitted to taking out his gun and shooting his wife in the jaw, causing her death. The victim was found unconscious with a gunshot wound to her head, and despite efforts to save her, she was declared dead at the scene.
Witnesses reported seeing Lewis pointing a gun at his wife in the car before firing a single shot. The victim’s daughter, who was on the phone with her mother during the argument, heard the confrontation unfold and the moment of the shooting.
