Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson have reportedly resolved their ongoing issues related to domestic disputes. The Blast reported that a hearing scheduled for July 16, 2024, to review a restraining order has been removed from the calendar. It is not clear if Palmer and Jackson settled their disagreement out of court or if the hearing was postponed pending mediation.
The outlet also stated that Palmer has withdrawn her request for sole custody of their son, but this information has not been independently confirmed. HipHopDX has reached out to Keke Palmer’s representative for more information.
Earlier this year, Sarunas Jackson, Darius’ brother, sought a restraining order against Palmer and her mother Sharon, claiming they were making false accusations against him. The request was denied by a judge.
Previously, Keke Palmer had obtained a temporary restraining order against Darius Jackson, alleging physical abuse during their relationship. The order required Jackson to stay away from her and their son Leo. Palmer detailed multiple violent incidents in her filing, including being slammed on the floor and grabbed by the neck and face.
In response, Darius filed for a restraining order against Palmer, claiming she was abusive towards him. He stated that she admitted to hitting him and becoming verbally abusive when drinking alcohol.
