According to The Jasmine Brand, Teyana Taylor, the actress and singer, and former NBA star Iman Shumpert have officially settled their divorce.
The couple, who got married in 2016 and have two daughters, went through a secret divorce filing by Taylor in 2023. Now, the divorce has been formally finalized.
In the court ruling, it was revealed that Taylor will keep four significant properties from their shared estate, valued at over $10 million. Shumpert is required to make a one-time payment of seven figures to Taylor as part of the settlement.
Shumpert, on the other hand, will retain his Miami condo, as well as his properties in South Georgia in Decatur, Georgia.
One of the key aspects of the settlement is the child support agreement. Shumpert has been ordered to pay $8,000 per month in child support and cover all private school fees for their daughters.
Additionally, Shumpert will keep his investments in Shumpert Shump, a diverse portfolio that was brought up during the trial but not publicly disclosed.
Earlier this month, details from the courtroom hearings were reported, showing the couple’s ongoing disagreements over asset division and custody arrangements.
As of now, neither Taylor nor Shumpert have made any public comments about the divorce settlement.
