A Georgia couple, Ashlee Crawley, 26, and James Tripp, 29, are in trouble with the law after allegedly attempting to sell their toddler for sex. Grovetown police arrested them on Wednesday.

Police received a tip that Crawley and Tripp were using an online chatroom to solicit men for sexual acts with their 2-year-old daughter. Crawley was reportedly creating and selling sexually explicit content online, some featuring their children including the toddler, for profit.

It is unclear what the videos contained or if the children were directly involved. Detectives discovered that Tripp sought Crawley’s approval to engage in sexual activity with one of his underage relatives.

The children have been removed from the home and are under the care of the Division of Family and Children Services. Crawley faces charges of child molestation and violating the Computer or Electronic Pornography and Child Exploitation and Prevention Act of 2007. Tripp is charged with criminal attempted incest and criminal attempted child molestation.

Both are currently held in the Columbia County Jail, and investigators anticipate additional charges to be filed against them.
