Former President Donald Trump provided free accommodations for 275 linemen from Florida Power & Light Company at the Trump National Doral in Miami ahead of Hurricane Milton. Eric Trump shared a photo of the linemen on social media, expressing gratitude for their efforts.

“Honored to have 275 incredible linemen from FPL at @TrumpDoral as they prepare to respond to Hurricane #Milton!” Eric wrote on X. “You are amazing, and the Trump family, along with the entire state of Florida, appreciates you! Enjoy the rooms— they are the best in Florida! Stay safe!”

As Florida prepares for Hurricane Milton, which is expected to hit the western part of the state on Wednesday evening, Governor Ron DeSantis announced that over 50,000 linemen have been activated and positioned for the storm. These linemen play a crucial role in recovery efforts, restoring power after the hurricane.

The Trump National Doral features hotel suite rates ranging from $251 to $8,251 per night, with a total of 643 guest rooms, including deluxe and presidential suites. The luxury hotel also boasts championship golf courses, fine dining, a pool, and cabanas.

Karoline Leavitt, the Trump campaign’s national press secretary, told The Washington Examiner, “This is another example of the generosity and kindness displayed by the Trump family every single day. They truly care for the American people.”

One father expressed his gratitude to Trump for providing shelter for his son, who is a lineman, during the hurricane.
