Tito Jackson, a member of the famous pop group the Jackson 5, has passed away at the age of 70, as confirmed by his sons. Tito was the third child out of nine in the Jackson family, which includes global stars Michael and Janet. The family is known for their timeless music that is still loved today.

In a statement shared on Instagram and Facebook, Tito’s sons TJ, Taj, and Taryll expressed their sadness over their father’s passing. Tito, who was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, was known for his caring nature and love for others.

Tito’s death was announced by “Entertainment Tonight,” reporting that he may have suffered a heart attack while driving from New Mexico to Oklahoma. The Jackson 5, consisting of Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael, achieved great success with hits like “ABC” and “I’ll Be There.”

Born in 1953, Tito was a background singer and guitarist in the group, overshadowed by his more prominent brothers like Michael. After Michael’s tragic death in 2009, Tito spoke about how it brought the family closer together, but the loss was deeply felt.

Tito continued to perform with his brothers, feeling Michael’s absence but finding comfort in his spirit. Before his passing, Tito visited a memorial to Michael in Munich, Germany, with his brothers. He released solo music and worked on new projects while focusing on raising his three sons, who formed the group 3T.

Tito is survived by his brothers Jermaine, Randy, Marlon, and Jackie, his sisters Janet, Rebbie, and Latoya, and their mother, Katherine. Their father Joe passed away in 2018. Tito Jackson will be remembered for his music, love for his family, and his lasting impact on the music industry.
