Be careful with who you have children with. A baby boy died and three people are accused of hurting him. The baby was found wrapped in a wet blanket next to a cold air conditioner in a hotel in Augusta, Georgia.
The baby’s mom, September De’Asia Seright, and two other adults, Lamisha Diane Seright and Bennie Antonio Nash, are charged with murder and hurting a child. They all live in Washington, Georgia.
Police got a call about a problem at the hotel on August 6 at 2 a.m. When they got there, they found the baby, Josiah Noel Seright, who wasn’t moving. They took the baby to the hospital, but he died a little while later.
The baby was wrapped in a wet blanket and was in a wet car seat too. The news said he died because he was too cold and couldn’t breathe. The mom left him by the air conditioner after taking a shower, while the other two adults were in the room.
The police are still investigating and there will be an autopsy to find out more. The three people accused are in jail and it’s not clear if they have a lawyer yet.
